SAFETY ON THE MOUNTAIN
We are always working to make your mountain experience safer.
Outdoor sports are in a class of their own, offering a sense of freedom and a conncetion with nature. Sadly however, the mountain is not a risk-free environment.
Safety and professionalism are paramount for the Carosello 3000 rescue team. As well as being ready for rescue operations, our Rescue Team works daily to ensure the slopes are safe, piste markers are correctly positioned, and any dangers are identified.
If you spot any situations which may be dangerous, don't hesitate to let us know. Send us an email at welcome@carosello3000.com
WARNING: off-piste backcountry areas are not marked and not monitored. For advice and tips on off-piste skiing, check out the freeride page.

Wear a helmet, always! Your helmet and other protective gear, along with a bit of common sense, can go a long way to reducing your risk of injury on the slopes.
Be mindful of your physical condition, age and skill. Lots of people get injured on their first day just by overdoing it.
Always keep a piste map in your pocket. Always check where you're heading and the difficulty of the slopes ahead.
Use gear which is in good condition and that has been prepared by specialist staff.
Even if it's hot and sunny, the weather in the mountains can change quickly. Make sure you always have suitable clothing with you.
If you're tired, or you've had an extra drink or two at one of the huts, don't be embarassed about using the gondola to get down the mountain.
