WALK AT 3000 METERS
EASY WALK WITH AN AMAZING VIEW
Experience the magic walking at altitude. Reach a view-point surrounded Discover by an incredible scenery of alpine peaks. Admire the view over a pristine valley where nature reigns supreme. A suggestive walk between the mountain beuties.
Starting from the top of the Mountain of Carosello 3000 everybody can follow an easy walk on groomed snow-trails. The path has very little gradient and opens to wonderful panoramic views over both the valleys of Livigno and Federia, a wild and pristine side valley. Extending a bit the walk you can also reach a wonderful view-point for admiring the view over the alpine peaks.
The panoramic walk starts at the top of the gondola Carosello 3000 (n°11-12): once you arrive at the top of the gondola, exit the building and look at your right side in order to find the green signs. The walk ends at the mountain shelter Carosello 3000, just few steps away from the gondola, where you can sit for lunch or for a hot drink (opening hours: 9 am – 4 pm).
The paths are completely dog-friendly (dogs have free access to the gondola). You need only a a Round Trip Sunpass to reach the top of the gondola where the walks start.
The main path is built as round-trips.
The path is very wide and signed with green coloured signs. At the junction you can decide to continue the walk to the view-point and then come back to the round-walk.
Snowshoe and trekking poles are not necessary but we suggest to wear mountain boots and warm mountain clothing.
The round walk can be made also using stroller with large wheels.
The walk ends next to the mountain shelter Carosello 3000, where you can have lunch or a warm drink (opening hours: 9 am – 4 pm).
The trail is suitable also for altitude training.
This walk is just perfect also for spending time together your furry friends.
