HOW TO GET HERE

The best adventures start with a knowing look, a smile and a few key directions to get you on the right path.

During the winter season there are two access points for Livigno: the Foscagno Pass (2291 metres) if you're coming from Bormio, Sondrio or Milan, or the Munt La Schera Tunnel which connects the resort with Switzerland and the main communication links with Central Europe.

For customs purposes, when you arrive you will be asked to show a valid identity document, and you must either have winter tyres on your car or be carrying snow chains.

Warning: during the winter the Forcola Pass (2315 metres) is closed. If you are coming to Livigno from the Valtellina, when you reach Tirano, continue towards Bormio (don't follow directions to Switzerland).

When you reach Livigno, you can get to the Carosello 3000 peaks using the San Rocco and Livigno Centro gondolas. These gondolas are connected with the ski slopes and other ski lifts at the top, and free parking is available at the bottom.

You can easily get to the ski lifts using the free shuttle bus which travels through the whole town, from the campsites in the Forcola area all the way to the lake.

FAT CAT

Your outdoor break

Live fully your outdoor day. Enjoy your break in a suggestive location in middle of the Mountain. Savor a sandwich with a view on the snowy peaks and get the energies to continue your day of sport.

The street food arrives at Carosello 3000 with a format oriented to the outdoor and to the respect of the nature. The FAT CAT, from the “Snowlicious” family of Prinoth, is a snowcat with a super furnished kitchen, which is placed every day in a different location of the ski-area. Search it during the ski morning and stop for a different lunch surrounded by nature.

But don’t expect gourmet food and haute cuisine, the Fat Cat is really “fat”: sandwiches with various type of meat, sausages and dressings, to give you the right power during your ski day. The casual and festive environment, with live rock music and games, will give you a funny and tasty break.

SKI LINK

The fast link between the two Livigno sides

To enjoy every second of your ski day has been activated the new Ski Link service: a shuttle that links without stops the two sides of the Livigno valley, carrying you from one lift to the other without time wasting. The service has activated two lines: the north, which links the Mottolino cableway (n°3) to the Valandrea/Botarel lift (n°29a and 29b), and the south line which links the Teola/Pianoni bassi lift (n°1) to the Carosello 3000 cableway (n°11). The service is available every day in winter season from 9.30 to 16.00, every 10 minutes.
