Who would have thought? While outside nature has revived thanks to a shining sun, while the snow has melted, swelling the streams, while the animals woke up, we could only observe small pictures of the outside world from our windows.

In order to contain the diffusion of Coronavirus, the Italian Authorities took drastic actions that determined the closure of all the ski areas. In complete accordance with this decision, Carosello 3000 wanted to send a message of encouragement to all the enthusiasts of the mountain.

Nature, sport and friendship. Three words that sum up Great Days 2019, the event organised at Livigno’s Carosello 3000 Mountain Park in Valtellina. A jam-packed programme of mountain bike riding, excursions, parties and a treasure hunt on the famous Tutti Frutti trail.

Exploration, strategy, fun. A treasure hunt in mountain bike in search of animals, view-points, and a guy named Wally. The Tutti Frutti Team Challenge will be the highlight of the Great Days, a three-days event to celebrate the union between mtb riders and the Mountain. In Livigno from July 12th to 14th.

The Carosello 3000 Mountain Park celebrates everything there is to love about mountain biking and the outdoors with its second edition of the Great Days event. A jam-packed programme of mountain bike riding, excursions, parties and a treasure hunt on the famous Tutti Frutti Tour designed by Hans Rey. Great Days takes place in Livigno from 12 to 14 July.

The Livigno Mountain Park is gearing up for a summer of mountain biking: read on to find out more about opening dates, early passes on sale, the Great Days event and a new singletrack almost entirely built by hand to complete the 50 km of trails.

After skiing on the slopes or in freeride, now at Carosello 3000 – Livigno is possible to stop in suggestive locations, for a snack or for an happy hour completely surrounded by nature.

Given the exceptional snowfall that involved Livigno, together with the high danger of avalanches, Carosello 3000 supported the freeride movement leaving with fresh snow the Polvere slope, one of the longest and most important of the ski area.

From January 16th a bit of Livigno will be in the conference tour –Speakers from the Edge – which will cross the United Kingdom. The Mountain Bike pioneer Hans Rey will speak about his special bond with the “Little Tibet” in Valtellina and about the Tutti Frutti Epic Tour of Carosello 3000.

Carosello 3000 – Livigno brings the tropics in the mountain with the longest Funslope in the world.

In the last days Livigno has been affected by another snowfall that left 38cm of fresh snow at the top. Exceptionally tomorrow – Saturday March 16th – the whole Val Federia will turn into a huge POWDER SLOPE, hence it won’t be groomed. Carosello 3000 therefore makes available a vast area where to have fun freeriding in safety and without get far from the ski area.

The first big snowfall is on his way to Livigno. We’ve been waiting for this very moment to say a huge thanks to all you bikers for the summer spent together. And also to give you a heads up about some exciting news for our next mountain bike season: The Bomb Trail.

Saturday, July 14, the great news of TUTTI FRUTTI TEAM CHALLENGE in Livigno From July 13th to 15th the Great Days, a new mountain bike event on the trails of Carosello3000, in Livigno (Italy).

A new gondola, new trails, new experiences and a special event. The Carosello 3000 Mountain at Livigno has completely restyled and expanded its mountain biking offering for the summer 2018 season. The trails are set to open on Saturday 23 June.

From July 13 to 15 escape the city and your daily routine and get to Carosello 3000 – Livigno to live your Great Days on a mountain bike. Three days of events on the trails and big parties at the village set up at the valley station of the new gondola in San Rocco area. A unique occasion to celebrate the sense of freedom that we all feel in the Mountains.

More than 200 guests attended to the ribbon cutting of the new Carosello 3000 cableway. A night enriched by the show, with lights and fire “The Mountain is Freedom”, and the screening of the docu-movie “The Stone of 3000”, which gathers the most important moments of the construction of the new lift.

After a single summer of works, Carosello 3000 announces the opening of the new San Rocco cableway on Saturday, 16 December. These days have already seen the launch of the new logo, the Top Experience programme and a totally renewed web portal.

Two consecutive gondola lifts, with a total length of 3 km and a vertical rise of 900 m. Three completely new stations. All to be realized during the short and meteorologically unpredictable Livigno’s summer. The construction of the new Carosello 3000 gondola (San Rocco area) has to be completed within the month.

Work is proceeding at a rapid pace, but the completion of the construction for the beginning of the winter will also depend on the meteorological conditions during the next two months. Carosello 3000 and Doppelmayr declare themselves optimistic.
